The Ziss Aqua Bubble Bio bubble moving media filter is an air-powered fluidised bed filter, combined with ultra-small biological filter media. The bio bubble can be used for both Marine and Freshwater fish tanks up to 200 litres as a biological filter. With enhanced flow, this new model is ideal for use with smaller/shallower tanks.

1. The "Self-Cleaning" Media
The core of the filter is the ZM-II bio-media. Because this media is constantly tumbling and rubbing against itself, older, less efficient bacteria are knocked off. This makes room for younger, more vigorous bacteria to colonise the surface, ensuring your biological filtration is always operating at peak performance

2. High Oxygenation
Biological filtration relies on aerobic bacteria, which need oxygen to survive.

Direct Supply: The "bubble" part of the name refers to the constant stream of air moving through the media chamber.

Result: This provides the bacteria with a supercharged environment, allowing them to process ammonia and nitrite much faster than static filters.

3. Low Maintenance
Because the media is self-cleaning, you almost never have to touch the inside of the filter.

No Clogging: Unlike sponges or ceramic rings that can trap gunk and eventually choke out the bacteria, the Ziss media stays clean.

External Sponge: Most models include a small sponge at the bottom to catch physical debris. This is the only part you need to squeeze out occasionally.

4. Professional-Grade Water Quality
These filters are excellent at keeping BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand) and COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) low. In simpler terms, they make the water "healthier" by ensuring the filter isn't competing with your fish for oxygen while it breaks down waste.
